The goal of the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Learning is to provide rigorous, high-quality curricula and instructional materials to New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) teachers and students.
The materials listed below that are part of the Core Curriculum Program are designated (CC).  These materials have been identified by the NYCDOE because they are aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards and other New York State standards. However, New York City principals can decide which instructional materials and programs to adapt for use in their schools to best meet their students’ needs.

Currently the Core Curriculum Program includes materials for grades K-12 in English Language Arts and grades K-8 in Mathematics. Other resources were developed by NYCDOE and are available to all schools.
